La presente página pretende mostrar la posibilidad de usar las tics en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en la institución educativa Jorge Eliecer Gaitán Ayala. Lo anterior con el fin de dinamizar el proceso enseñanza- aprendizaje y de estar al día con los medios tecnológicos que el estudiante tiene al alcance y le posibilitan ampliar el panorama del conocimiento.
Así mismo se considera la transversalidad de áreas (inglés - sociales) para facilitar y hacer significativo para el estudiante el aprendizaje de los diferentes contenidos. Al relacionar conocimientos de las diferentes áreas se logra una mejor comprensión, un aprendizaje más dinámico y eficaz.
La web debe ser un puente entre la escuela y la sociedad; no se debe desconocer el impacto que los medios tecnológicos ejercen sobre los jóvenes así que se debe hacer de este impacto una ventaja al usarlo como herramienta de aprendizaje y no condenarlo por ser un distractor que aleja al joven de la academia. Al utilizar la web para impartir los contenidos se facilita el acceso a éstos sin restricción de tiempo o de espacio. El estudiante desde su casa – u otro espacio – tiene la posibilidad de repasar, ampliar, cotejar, afianzar conocimientos.

Serán los 43 estudiantes del grado 9° de la institución educativa Jorge Eliecer Gaitán Ayala. Grupo que está formado por 18 alumnos y 25 alumnas, que oscilan en la edad de 14 y 16 años. Estos fueron considerados como objeto de muestra, debido a que tienen habilidades y destrezas en el uso del procesador de texto Microsoft Word, utilizando sus herramientas avanzadas; en la utilización de programas de presentaciones multimedia como Power Point donde aplican efectos, transiciones, animaciones, hipervínculos, inserción de películas y sonidos y poseen conocimiento sobre el uso de los medios de comunicación síncrono y asíncrono que ofrece Internet.
